Health, sight and dignity for every family in Vidarbha
Vishavabhartiya Foundation was incorporated on 12 March 2026 and carries forward the community health, eye-care and social service initiatives begun in 1998 by its founder and the earlier organisation, Vishvabhartiya Manav Kalyan Sewa Sanstha.

of free eye care
A legacy that began at a neighbourhood clinic
In 1998 our founder, optometrist Dr. Dhananjay K. Yerne, opened a public hospital and mother-and-child health centre on Kharbi Road, Nagpur, and began free eye check-up camps. Through his earlier organisation, Vishvabhartiya Manav Kalyan Sewa Sanstha, the work reached slums, labour colonies, villages, schools, anganwadis, places of worship of every faith, the Nagpur Central Jail and highway petrol pumps.
On 12 March 2026 this work gained an institutional home: Vishavabhartiya Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit company registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
