Our commitment
Vishavabhartiya Foundation works with children, the elderly, people with disabilities and others who may be vulnerable. Every person has the right to be safe from abuse, exploitation and neglect. We do not tolerate any form of harm by our directors, staff, volunteers or partners.
What we do
- Children at camps and school programmes are attended in the presence of teachers, parents or guardians.
- Volunteers are briefed on respectful conduct before taking part.
- Photographs follow our Photo & Media Consent Policy.
- Personal and health information of beneficiaries is kept confidential.
Reporting a concern
Anyone can raise a safeguarding concern, including anonymously, through our grievance mechanism. Concerns are handled confidentially by the Managing Director and, where required, reported to the appropriate authorities. In an emergency involving a child, call Childline 1098 or the police at 112.
Policy status
A full Safeguarding Policy will be published on the Transparency & Governance page once adopted by the Board.
